Steve was born and raised in New York, where he served in the NYPD as a Police Officer. After retiring from 20 years of service, he moved to Tennessee to be closer to his wife’s family and began the process of discerning the call that he felt God has placed on his life by entering the Candidacy for Ministry Program in the United Methodist Church. He is very passionate about reaching people for Christ through local missions and around the World. He has just returned from a Missions trip from South Sudan this past February and looks forward to returning in September of 2014. It is his desire to make disciples, one at a time, by building relationships.
Steve and his wife, Susie, have been married for twenty years. Susie works in the Missions Program at First Broad Street UMC. Steve and Susie have twin daughters, Jessie and Sarah, who are seniors in high school and they also have a son, Steven, who is a freshman. In his spare time, Steve enjoys playing golf and spending quality time with his family in the outdoors.
